Tired of the same old R&B sound?  Looking for something as hot as the summer heat?  Well, Clayton Knight is just the sound that is heating up the airwaves.  A little blues with a lot of  R&B and just a hint of  mellow beats is just what Clayton is giving in his upcoming album.  This mixture is definitely going to attract every listener from the youngest to the oldest generation.

            From a little boy in Dawes community, West Mobile County , Clayton has been in the music industry in some fashion; such as playing in shows with some of  today’s hottest blues legends such as Johnny Taylor, Tyrone Davis & Marvin Sease.  As well as, being a musician with such artists as O.V. Wright, Lil  Joe Blue & David Brinston.  With the talent and inspiration of these great legends, Clayton has now decided to come to the fore-front with his explosive new album “THANKFUL FOR YOUR LOVE ”

             Coming to mid-stage in the early 70’s, Clayton’s background experience leads him to pursue his own music career a little further. By writing lyrics & music, Clayton & his daughter has taken his musical talent to a new level.

             After months of  being in & out of  the studio and going through many difficulties, Clayton stumbled through a few of  his songs.  Being optimistic and keeping the thought that “Practice makes Perfect” as his driving force, he didn’t allow anything to stop him!  With some old hidden away poems of  his daughter’s and their intense help to arrange those poems into songs they were determined to make it . Other Previous CD's  with songs such as “What Is a Man to Do” & “Gotta Get My Groove On” . Clayton has even thrown “Let Me Down Easy” in this album to give his view on all the heartache and heartbreaks that many have experienced, including Clayton himself. 

             NOW!! Clayton’s new album, “THANKFUL FOR YOUR LOVE ”  on the Blues River Records / East-West Entertainment  has him being the newest upcoming attraction.  With songs such as “I Want to Party With You , Thankful For Your Love, Too Many Mechanics, and Go On  just to name a few, Clayton is bound to reach the stars and make his dream come true. 

             With the help and support of his family and others, Clayton Knight’s “Thankful For Your Love ” will definitely be a spice to the charts in today’s music industry!
